A main from A site

Kicking off our list is this great one-way on A main. Much like the rest of the one-way smokes, you can place Omen’s smoke on top of green double crates. Provided that there is someone watching over Elbow, you can position yourself inside the site and take down anyone brave enough to pass through the smoke.

Using the same smoke, you can punish opponents trying to push the smoke from A link.

A main

If you want to take more space and opt for an aggressive one-way smoke, you can position yourself near the crates and attach the smoke on the ledge.

A lobby

For a more aggressive one-way smoke, you can stand between elbow and A main and let your smoke sit at the the edge of the top of the metal telephone box on A lobby. This smoke though is not as great as the rest of the smoke, and will demand better reaction time.

A Alley

After planting the spike, you can place your smoke on top of the wooden double box, stand anywhere around the site or elbow and try to catch defenders attempting to retake the site.

A Default

During post-plant situations, Omen can also deploy a smoke on top of the box on this default plant spot to create a one-way smoke. As your opponent attempts to defuse, the upper portion of their body will be covered by the smoke, leaving them unaware of their surroundings. This provides you with an opportunity to exploit the situation, as you'll have a clear view of their feet

Mid bottom from Mid Top

To avoid players from pushing from mid, you can opt for a one-way smoke on mid-bottom. This way, you’ll get to spot their feet before they can even see you. On top of this, this is also a good cover that you can use against Sage players who might attempt to kill you with a Grim wall. Just be sure to be prepared in case someone tries to push mid from the other side or tiles.

Take note though that this one-way smoke is pretty challenging to land. When placing this smoke, there will be at least three points where the arrow will go green. Pick the lowest, and deploy the smoke. It may require several attempts, so it's advisable to practice this in a custom game beforehand.

Mid bottom from B Market

This is also another one-way smoke that you can try to opponents trying to push from here. This is pretty easy to do as you will only have to position your smoke around the entrance and wait for the arrow to go green. While this is a great smoke, make sure there is someone else watching tiles so you wont get shot from there.

Mid tiles from Mid Top

Alternatively, if there are enemies who will try to go towards mid through tiles. Stand on mid top and place your smoke on the white ledge.

B Boba

After clearing B Boba on B site, you can use a one-way smoke that is sure to punish defenders trying to rotate from spawn or mid-top. With this, they will either have to take a different path, wait for the smoke to go off or take the risks of pushing the smoke.

B lobby

Similar to the opposite site, you and your teammate can take B main and place one-way smoke around the entrance. Make sure to position the smoke in the middle to make sure that you will remain hidden from any angle.

How to use Omen's one-way smokes in Valorant?

One-way smokes are essentially regular smokes, but when used correctly, they can give you the upper hand. This is achieved by positioning Dark Cover (E) in elevated locations such as crates, boxes, or ledges, high enough to spot your opponents' lower half or feet before they can even see you.

In Valorant, Omen has plenty of one-way smokes to do, ranging from easy to difficult. The only way to do it is by positioning the smoke on your target spot and wait for the arrow to go green, indicating that the smoke can be deployed.
