New NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Graphics Card Uses AI To Boost Performance

This Latest Model Is #BeyondFast

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is built to be ultra-efficient, with a bunch of innovative features including AI-accelerated performance with DLSS 3.

AI tech has been talk of the town recently, thanks to rapid advancements in tools like ChatGPT and prompt-based image generation. Businesses are already looking to take advantage of AI to get ahead of the competition.

NVIDIA unveiled its new premium graphics card on Wednesday, the GeForce RTX 4070. It’s powerful enough to max out your favorite games at 1440p and a significant upgrade from the 3070.

As with other models in the 40 series, the 4070 uses DLSS 3 to provide a huge boost in performance.

How does this work?

DLSS 3 analyzes sequential frames and motion data from the new Optical Flow Accelerator in GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs to create additional high-quality frames – in other words, it uses AI to generate extra frames that don’t need to be rendered by the game itself.

This is on top of the Super Resolution feature available in earlier versions of DLSS which utilizes AI to output higher resolution frames from a lower res input.

Additionally, the GeForce RTX 4070 works in harmony with NVIDIA Studio to allow AI-assisted workflows, and the NVIDIA Broadcast app, an AI-powered home studio for creators.

Aside from all the AI stuff, this new graphics card is built with NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace architecture, which incorporates new streaming multiprocessors, fourth-gen tensor cores, and third-gen RT cores for lightning-fast speeds and improved power efficiency. Plus, owing to the more powerful hardware, you can experience Ray Tracing at its very best.

Early reviews of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 have been overwhelmingly positive. Engadget called it “The new 1440p gaming leader”.

Right now the base model is selling out fast, but it will be restocked regularly. Prices start at $599 / €659 / £589.

It will be exciting to watch how AI impacts gaming over the coming years, some crazy things will soon be possible!
