Call of Duty Pros Accuse Each Other of Cheating & Using Drugs During Major 3 Qualifiers

Snaking, Stair-glitching, Secret Sound Settings and Adderall – It’s All Kicking off in the CDL Right Now!

LA Thieves came out on top against Atlanta FaZe on Sunday, but it didn’t end there, the two teams clashed again on Twitter after the match.

Qualifiers are underway for Call of Duty League Major 3, hosted by OpTic Texas in March. The LA Thieves upset league leaders FaZe with a 3-1 victory yesterday, just 2 weeks after FaZe beat them for the Major 2 trophy.

Following the game, Thieves star Drazah took to Twitter to post a screenshot of Cellium “stair-glitching”, with the caption, “Well deserved loss for doing this in a match, this is the exact reason why stair glitching is GA’d right now”.

This was a copypasta of a Tweet from FaZe Simp in January that slandered Drazah for using an overpowered Smoke Grenade trick to win a fight.

Another FaZe pro, SlasheR, then jumped in to defend his teammate. “Bro he’s not staircase-glitching. You have to be up on the staircase laying down. Quit being weird” he replied.

What followed were several tweets, subtweets, and comments from players of both teams, with fans reaching for the popcorn and enjoying.

SlasheR called out LA Thieves for allegedly using a sound equalization setting that makes things easier to hear but is disabled in LAN tournaments. Cellium even blessed the timeline with a rare non-GGs tweet, saying “Don’t do drugs kids ”.

In other replies to Drazah, SlasheR used a pill emoji and said “It’s hilarious you are so TEED (LOL) you don't even know whats goin on”. Most people are reading this as FaZe accusing Drazah of taking Adderall to improve his performance in-game.

Snaking was also a big talking point this weekend. Players are able to dip in and out of cover so quickly that they are almost impossible to kill, making some Hardpoint hills unbreakable.

As ever, the issue with all these exploits in Call of Duty is that for the most part, they aren’t technically against the rules. The pros often make an agreement not to use certain things, but that’s not enforceable.
