WYLDE unveil new roster for Valorant Challengers League

Running onto the server

European esports organization WYLDE have announced their new Valorant roster heading into Split 1 of VCL France: Revolution, where the team will compete in. The roster consists of Tyler "Foxie" Lowton, Tautvydas "hype" Paldavicius, Calvin "calvin" Spaaij, Ethan "Sevire" Starke, and Emirhan "hiro" Kat.

Foxie, who will be the IGL for the team, played for Excel last split. Some of his previous teams also include Finest and Team Queso. Additionally, Foxie played for MENA team The Ultimates in the offseason. The British player will bring some great experience and leadership skills to a young team.

Lithuanian player hype hails from OG LDN UTD, where he played for them in VCT EMEA Challengers last year. The Sentinel player brings a load of experience and firepower to this team.

Calvin, previously known as MAGiK, joins the team from Sector One. He has also competed for Dsyre Esports and M4LIK. Sevire hails from ALTERNATE aTTaX and hiro hails from VCTRY Esports. All three players are Dutch and therefore count for the 3/5 residency rules, as VCL France is for France and the Benelux region.

Up and coming coach Sam "Fields" Greenfield joins the team as Head Coach. He was previously the Assistant Coach for Excel.

WYLDE, which is co-owned by athlete Usain Bolt, competed last year in the French VCL as well. In Split 1, they placed sixth and in Split 2, they placed eighth. With this brand-new roster, it'll be interesting to see how they do this time around.

The first time we'll be able to see this roster in action will be on January 14th, where they are set to play against 3DMAX.
