Who's most likely to win each Valorant Challenger League in EMEA? Here are our picks

Best teams of each Valorant Challenger League, EMEA!

The teams that qualified and/or invited for VCL EMEA are finishing up their rosters, polishing their finest strategies and preparing for the start of the new season.

Ahead of the new VALORANT Challengers league season, and in celebration of the talented individuals who are putting the work in to prove themselves, we got together to create a list of potential winners of each Valorant Challenger League in EMEA.

But first, let's introduce each region!

There are currently 9 Challengers leagues in EMEA:

  • Challengers League DACH: Evolution.
  • Challengers League France: Revolution.
  • Challengers League Spain: Rising.
  • Challengers League East: Surge.
  • Challengers League Portugal: Tempest.
  • Challengers League Turkey: Birlik.
  • Challengers League Italy: Rinascimento.
  • Challengers League Northern Europe: Polaris.
  • Challengers League MENA: Resilience.

So without further ado, let's pick some winners!

Challengers League DACH Evolution:

VRL DACH (via VRL Dach Evolution Twitter)

Challenger League DACH was arguably one of the most competitive regions in EMEA, having participants like FOKUS, BIG, Angry Titans, MOUZ etc... But with FOKUS joining Challengers League Northern Europe: Polaris and BIG exiting Valorant altogether, we nominate:

Angry Titans! (StayAngry)

Challengers League France Revolution:

VRL France (via VRL France Revolution Twitter)

Challenger League France Revolution is filled of rivalries and unforgettable moments, notably HEET and Mandatory, but alongside them there are Sector One, WYLDE and Zerance! So VCL France is a league to keep an eye for, with that being said, we nominate:

HEET! (FeelTheHEET)

Challengers League Spain Rising:

VRL Spain (via LVP Rising Twitter)

Challenger League Spain Rising is packed with heat, consisting of organizations like CASE Esports (second place in Valorant Regional League Finals), Rebels Gaming, Team Queso, UCAM Tokiers and KPI Gaming! VCL Spain will be fantastic, but who do we think will win it? We nominate:

CASE Esports! (GoCase)

Challengers League East Surge:

VRL East (via VRL East Twitter)

Challenger League East Surge was undermined before, but with Acend's enterance to VCL East, this league will showcase potential and memorable moments. Alongside Acend, multiple other organizations are in Challenger League East including Diamant Esports, Anonymo Mentos and Enterprise Esports, so be on the lookout for those too! We nominate:

Acend Club! (RiseUp)

Challengers League Portugal Tempest:

VRL Portugal (via VRL Portugal Twitter)

Challenger League Portugal Tempest is one of the newest additions to the Valorant Challengers Leagues program, introduced in September! So it is one of the underrated leagues, however, with the likes of EGN Esports, Arroz and GTZ Esports it shouldn't be taken out of the equation yet. And we nominate:

EGN Esports!

Challengers League Turkey Birlik:

VRL Turkey (via VRL Turkey Twitter)

Turkey gave us the likes of cNed and alfajer and is known for being the homeland of talented individuals. Challenger League Turkey Birlik has notable organizations like SuperMassive Blaze which placed second in EMEA Challengers Stage 3 and qualified to Masters Berlin, Parla Esports which showcased strength against NAVI in G Loot Clash and S2g Esports. We nominate:

Parla Esports (PRLWin)

Challengers League Italy Rinascimento:

VRL Italy (via Valorant Regional Leagues Twitter)

Introduced alongside Challengers League Portugal Tempest, Challengers League Italy Rinascimento is home to familiar organizations, including DSYRE, GMT Esports and QLASH. This league, like VCL Portugal, will look forward to proving that Italy is the strongest region in Europe. We nominate:

DSYRE (Elevate, Aspire, DSYRE)

Challengers League Northern Europe Polaris:

VRL Polaris (via VRL Polaris Twitter)

Challengers League Northern Europe is looking to solidify their spot as the best region in Europe, having hosted successful organizations and teams like EXCEL, Kova, Finest before. However, with the latter leaving VALORANT scene, it is left for the free agent rosters to defend the region's undeniable legacy. We nominate:

FOKUS (123FOKUS)

Challengers League MENA Resilience:

VRL MENA (via VRL MENA Twitter)

Challengers League MENA Resilience is the home of multiple sub-regions, including Levant, North Africa, GCC and Iraq altogether! Although this region is deemed the weakest, MENA talents are looking forward to proving the masses wrong and showcase their talent in the highest levels. Home to organizations like Team Falcons, Team RA'AD and Geekay Esports, there's no doubt that VCL MENA will be an entertaining watch. We nominate:

Geekay Esports

Conclusion: Regardless of who wins each Challenger League, these tournaments will remain entertaining to us all around the globe, and we'll be looking forward to ACTION IN 2023!
