Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, titled “Super” and centered around superheroes like Superman and the Fantastic Four, is set to conclude on August 7, 2025. That same day, following scheduled downtime, Chapter 6 Season 4—also known as Shock ‘N Awesome—will go live across all regions.

Downtime is expected to begin in the early hours:
- Eastern US (EDT): ~1:30 AM ET (around August 7)
- Central Europe (CET): ~7:30 AM CEST
While the official confirmation is limited, Epic’s countdown and reporting from reputable sources strongly indicate that August 7, 2025 is the launch date.

What to Expect in Shock ‘N Awesome
Alien Invasion Theme
This season will usher in an alien bug invasion narrative, complete with insectoid adversaries swarming the island.
Major Collaborations
- Halo Spartans: Expect playable Spartan IV skins in the Battle Pass, joining Master Chief on the island.
- Power Rangers: Tommy Oliver as the White Ranger is confirmed as the Tier 100 Battle Pass skin, alongside a secret Megazord unlock. Additional Ranger outfits will appear in the Item Shop.
New Gear & Mechanics
- Bug Gauntlet (a potential mythic weapon)
- Swarmstrike Launcher (bug-themed rocket launcher)
- New forest/jungle biome POIs, along with returning mud sliding mechanics and companions.
