New Agent Deadlock Disabled for VCT LCQ

Riot Games informed the American VALORANT Players Association that the new agent Deadlock will be disabled for VCT Last Chance Qualifier events.

The following events will be run on these patches:
Ascension - Patch 6.11
GC2 - Patch 7.00
LCQ - Patch 7.00

This means Deadlock will be used in LCQ and Game Changers 2. Teams should plan scrims accordingly.

However, according to the statement from the Association, teams competing at various international LCQs including EMEA LCQ, AMERICAS LCQ and PACIFIC LCQ will use the new Patch (7.00), without Deadlock. In addition, the Association stated that Deadlock will be enabled for the upcoming Game Changers series, making it the first event to feature the new agent.

Fans speculate that Deadlock will be enabled in the upcoming Champions event, however, Riot Games did not share information regarding this. But we can hope that the new agent makes it to the biggest event of the season.
