VCT EMEA kicked off its first week, a super week, which included intense games, familiar rivalries and shocking scorelines. Here's a breakdown of VCT EMEA's WEEK 1.

Recap

The first week included a few surprises: Gekko was picked in multiple games, Lotus have seen more games and new meta.

The week also witnessed multiple upsets and underdog teams coming on top: KOI stomped the region's favourites NAVI without dropping a single map, showcasing resilience and potential to be one of the top teams of the region. FUT, the Turkish organization, stomped Team Heretics as well, proving that Team Heretics is lacking firepower and proper structure. BBL went toe-to-toe with FNATIC, proving that FNATIC might be touchable after all. Karmine Corp gave Team Heretics their first win in the league in what fans call a "troll game".
