VCT AMERICAS WEEK 1: Recap, scorelines and standings

VCT AMERICAS kicked off its first week, which included intense games, familiar rivalries and shocking scorelines. Here's a breakdown of VCT AMERICAS' WEEK 1.

Recap

The first week included a few surprises: Sentinels came in with a bunch of role changes, a lot of overtimes and heated games in general.

Sentinels faced off 100 Thieves, in a game where Sentinels came in with pANcada on the Sentinel and Sacy was on the Controller role, it was a surprise for the fans and viewers alike. The showdown was intense, both teams going back and forth, and we got to see multiple overtimes.

Week One also held another surprise for the viewers, the North American favourites NRG Esports faced off the South American team Leviatan, however, NRG fell short to Leviatan, giving Leviatan the fuel to keep on going and conquer all the teams. Speaking of South America, in a more continental showdown, FURIA managed to take down KRU Esports as well. In addition, the Brazilian superstar team LOUD defeated their local rivals MIBR.
