Riot Games is preparing to launch its popular tactical first-person shooter game, VALORANT, in China in the upcoming month.

In last December, VALORANT was among the foreign titles approved for release in China for 2023 by the Chinese government's National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA).

John Needham, Riot Games' President of Esports, Anna Donlon, Executive Producer on VALORANT and other senior Riot Games figures attended the event and explained their plans for VALORANT in China.

With its release, Chinese audience and fans will be in for a treat, as the Chinese release will include a China-exclusive bundle. In addition, previous bundles, even the exclusive ones, will be purchasable, including Champions and Arcane. As well as have their own Recording Software for Matches which will support the much-requested-feature : REPLAYS.
VALORANT will launch with 16 agents and 4 Maps, while other agents and maps will come with time. The event ended with a tease that China will join the official VALORANT Champions Tour circuit in the near future.
