Premier Official Launch: Release Date, Maps, Schedule, Divisions and More

Premier will enter its official launch this August, with the start of the second Act of Episode Seven. The official launch of Premier will be packed in with major changes to its structure, and linking it to VALORANT Champions Tour Circuit. Here's all the details we know so far about Premier's official launch.

VALORANT Premier Release Date

Premier will enter its official launch in August 29th.

VALORANT Premier Divisions

Premier will include five divisions. The divisions are (From Highest to Lowest):

• Contender
• Elite (1 – 5)
• Advanced (1 – 5)
• Intermediate (1 – 5)
• Open (1 – 5)

A team's division will be based on the collective MMR of the squad.

VALORANT Premier Qualifies to VCT

Global Head of Esports, Leo Faria, mentioned in the video that VALORANT Premier will be integrated into VALORANT Champions Tour Circuit. Next season, VALORANT Challengers will have a new requirement: Contender in Premier minimum. According to Faria, participants of Challengers will need to be Contender in Premier, replacing the requirement of being Immortal and plus to compete in Challengers. Later next season, the top teams from Contender division will go up against Challengers teams in relegations for a spot in VALORANT Challengers. All of this mean that Premier will become one path to become pro, and will feed into VALORANT Challengers starting from next season.

VALORANT Premier Schedule and Maps

VALORANT Premier will start the registration and enrolling phase from August 29th to September 4th. Then we will have eight weeks of Premier followed by Premier's Playoffs. Premier's games will take place depending on time zone, but most likely around 7pm local time.

• Week 1: from September 5th to September 10th (Haven)
• Week 2: from September 12th to September 17th (Breeze)
• Week 3: from September 19th to September 24th (Lotus)
• Week 4: from September 26th to October 1st (Bind)
• Week 6: from October 3rd to October 8th (Ascent)
• Week 7: from October 10th to October 15th (Split)
• Week 8: from October 17th to October 22nd (Sunset)
• Playoffs: 22nd October

VALORANT Premier Rewards

At the time of writing, we don't have a preview of the rewards. But the rewards are:

• Gun Buddy.
• Title.
• Player Card.

All rewards will be distributed on October 23. You will be eligible for your reward as long as you’ve played at least one match.
