VALORANT Premier: Release, Requirements, Schedule, Rewards, How to Find Teammates and More

Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, announced that it will be releasing a new competitive game mode, titled Premier. Premier is a team-based league that allows users to compete against other teams for a chance to win in-game prizes as well as climb into the official VALORANT Champions Tour circuit. Here's a breakdown of Premier.

Release & Schedule

Premier will enter its Global Open Beta phase for a month starting from late April:

ENROLMENT Period: APR 25 - 28
WEEKLY Matches: APR 29 - MAY 20
PLAYOFFS Tournament: MAY 21

Requirements

To participate in Premier, the following requirements must be met:

Verification Process: (Two Conditions)

Account verification: Through a simple SMS verification.

MMR verification: Account must have had a rank at some point.

When the conditions are met, the user will be met with "CREATE A TEAM" button within the game to start their venture into VALORANT's newest competitive structure.

Rewards

Premier participants will unlock a special banner and a title after completing their first Premier match, and Premier's Beta Champions will unlock Champions banner and title after winning the tournament.

All rewards will be available in the collection section within the game.
