In the latest edition of “Ask Valorant”, a blog series in which the developers answer some of the community’s most popular queries, Valorant fans received some good news about replays.
Responding to the question, “Is Valorant going to get an in-game replay system?”, the game’s Senior Producer, Steven Eldredge, had this to say.
“Yes! This is something that we’re interested in exploring soon. Whether it’s to study previous matches for tactical advantages or to create spicy memes, we know that players will find a wide range of interesting uses for a system like this.”
A well-designed replay system opens up a whole world of possibilities both for competitive players and content creators.

Analysing video footage is an integral part of improving in any esport and having the right tools makes it that much more effective. It will allow teams to form advanced strategies, study their opponents and work out where they are going wrong.
This is also useful for individuals who want to identify common mistakes and see why they are losing fights. Even if you just want to do a bit better in ranked, replays can be a big help.
The replay system will also be a blessing for content creators. From VOD reviews and educational commentaries to cinematic intros and outros, it will be exciting to see what Valorant fans can come up with.
Although Eldredge’s statement didn’t offer any sort of timeline for the replay feature, it doesn’t sound like they have started on it just yet. Fingers crossed this is something we will hear more about soon.
