TiGG and mummAy join Turtle Troop NA Challengers roster

The newest additions might make the difference!

After ending Week 2 without a single win in NA Challengers, the free agent roster Turtle Troop announced the departure of two members and the addition of two other replacements for the remainder of NA Challengers.

NA Challengers League is intense, featuring the best talents and pros left off franchising, it is no wonder that some teams will struggle to stand up and go up against all the pros in the league. Turtle Troop, one of the participants in the league, ended the second week without a single win and therefore announced the departure of Mohammed "Harmful" Choudhary and Anthony "Okeanos" Nguyen from the team, then announced the addition of Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo and Tanner "TiGG" Spanu to the team.

TiGG competed under The Nation in NA Challenger qualifiers alongside CS:GO superstar Stewie2K, former TSM's Jett one-trick Wardell and other notable names. The Nation failed to secure a spot in NA Challengers and disbanded right after. Before that, TiGG represented Luminosity and Shopify Rebellion in VCT NA Challengers and other tournaments.

MummAy competed under ENVY in 2021 and then represented Andbox/NYFU, the veteran has multiple titles to himself and considered as one of the best free agent talents in the scene.

Turtle Troop, with the additions of TiGG and MummAy, is looking to pull a comeback and attempt to secure a spot in the Mid-Season invitational and  Ascension League as well.

Their next game is against BreakThru on Feb. 28.
