The rise of Pro 10-Mans: APAC

The likes of Skrossi and HellrangeR are queuing in the APAC 10mans.

VALORANT's competitive mode, better known as ranked, was and is still a frustrating experience which gets worse and worse the higher the elo goes. In Radiant/Immortal lobbies, throwing ranked games, AFKing on purpose, flaming teammates and insulting others is the norm. Ranked, according to most professionals and streamers, is not worth the time investment if left as is.

Frustrated with the ranked experience, known VALORANT professionals and professionals turned into content creators decided to make their own ranked structure in the form of Custom Games (Ten Men, Five versus Five), the server is on an invitation basis, and it includes the best of the best. The phenomena started far back, however, Sentinels streamer and content creator Tarik popularized it with the launch of his own VALORANT server for 10-man matches named Pro City.

Other regions took notes and started making their own Pro Hubs.

APAC, short for Asia-Pacific, is one of the most competitive regions in VALORANT. Like North America, APAC launched its own VALORANT ranked hub, called ValoDex Pro 10-Mans.

Why was ValoDex Pro 10-Mans made?

"There were multiple pro hubs before us, the likes of MVPL, PVL and IVPL. However, those were national-level servers, so we designed ValoDex to represent the entire region, be the home for whoever fits the criteria. Of course, ValoDex is inspired by Tarik's Pro City" - Quoc "Nethenoob "Kien Ngo, Co-Founder of ValoDex.

ValoDex was created as an alternative to VALORANT's default competitive, it is a home for high level professionals and content creators who grew tired of VALORANT's ranked and its downsides.

Who plays in ValoDex Pro 10-Mans?

ValoDex server includes high level talents from all across APAC, the likes of Skrossi, Ching, HellrangeR, RvK and others.

"ValoDex is a better experience overall, it is the best environment to practice and execute new things because it has high tier professionals. The server is more competitive, and of course, it doesn't have throwers or stream snipers." - Enrico "Ching" Perez, VALORANT player for Revenant Esports.
"ValoDex is optimized for a pro setting, it has faster queues. And it has a leaderboard, so it needs grinding to be on the top" - Bhavin "HellrangeR" Kotwani, former Global Esports VALORANT player.
"It is a chill experience, super fun and of course its better than VALORANT's ranked" - Rishi "RvK" Vijayakumar, VALORANT player for Orangutan.
"I think ValoDex is a good place to keep the competition at its highest levels. All pros are willing to improve and become better in here, and I feel good about that! Is it better than ranked? For now, can't tell much, but having pros who communicate makes the experience better" - Adrian "Invy" Jiggs Reyes, VALORANT player for Team Secret
"Playing Pro 10-mans is more fun than ranked, for sure, but the downside is not being able to gain XP or get progression on battlepass etc... But being able to compete in lobbies with the highest levels of competition makes up for it, and I am able to learn more things here than I would in ranked. Eroll "Ejay" Jule Delfin, VALORANT player for Rex Regum Qeon

The staff invites the high-level talents, most of whom are representing high tier organizations in APAC or have been in the top of ranked's leaderboard.
