The returning VALORANT map Split makes an appearance in VCT LOCK//IN

The beloved map was a fun watch in VCT LOCK//IN!

The fan-favourite map made its long-awaited return to the official VALORANT map rotation, and it was picked in VCT LOCK//IN tournament in São Paulo, Brazil for the first time!

Split, although a controversial map, is one of the most beloved maps in the game, the map returned to VALORANT after slight changes to make it fair for the attacking side as well.

In DAY FOUR of VCT LOCK//IN in São Paulo, the beloved map made an appearance in the Karmine Corp vs LOUD match-up, the quarter-finals of Alpha group. Before this, the controversial map was banned in almost all series, except the GenG  vs LOUD match-up, but the game ended in LOUD's favour before going into Split.

The match-up between Karmine Corp and LOUD seems to be living proof that Riot Games changes to the map made it doable for the attack side to win, with LOUD winning 8 rounds in their Attack Half of Split and going into the defence side in an 8-4 scoreline, Riot Games will be patting themselves in the back!
