It was a day like any other when Rob Moore, the CEO of Sentinels, suddenly posted tweets that no one would have expected.
We will therefore not be resigning Bugha, Aspect or Zyfa. We thank our players , especially Kyle “Bugha”Giersdorf , who brought home the Sentinels first major championship with his win in the 2019 World Cup.

According to the CEO, the main reason the organization abandoned Fortnite is the lack of opportunities to find sponsors through the game. He later announces that the entire Fortnite roster of Sentinels will be released.
This is Bugha's tweet, in which he thanks the organization for the wonderful years spent together.
Today is my last day as SEN Bugha.

I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity over the last 3 years.
While this is the end of an era and memorable chapter of my career — this also starts an exciting new one in 2023. ✍🏻
Thank you, @sentinels
Sentinels also posted a thank-you video to Bugha, who joined the team in March 2019. A lot has happened since then, from winning the Fortnite World Cup to two Esports Awards, a Game Awards win, a Fortnite skin of his own, and countless other achievements. In this video, they go over some of those moments.
It is undoubtedly a sad moment for the Fortnite competitive scene, one of the tiers 1 team is leaving the scene due to lack of support. We hope that the New Year will bring us much hope.
