How To Thank The Bus Driver in Fortnite on PC, Xbox & PlayStation

One of the Week 3 quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is to thank the bus driver. This will give you a lot of XP and help you unlock more items and cosmetics from the battle pass. But how do you thank the bus driver in Fortnite? You might not know which button to press, so here’s some guidance for you.

How to Thank the Bus Driver in Fortnite?

Thanking the bus driver in Fortnite is very easy and can be done on any platform. All you need to do is press the button that brings up the Emotes wheel for you on your current platform while you are still on the bus. Here are the buttons for different platforms:

• PC: Press B on the keyboard
• PS4: Press Down on the D-pad
• Xbox One: Press Down on the D-pad
• Switch: Press Down on the D-pad
• Mobile and Tablets: Tap the Emote button in the top right corner of the screen

You can thank the bus driver at any time before you jump off the bus, but you can only do it once per match. You will also hear a sound effect when you thank the bus driver.

The bus driver feature was added to Fortnite in 2018 as a fun way to interact with other players and the game world.

Your name will appear in orange in the bottom left corner of the screen, along with a notification that you thanked the bus driver. Other players can see it too and join you in thanking the bus driver.
