With the Valorant Ignition Series well underway and early tournaments proving to be a huge success, no one wants to miss out on the action.
Dallas based org, Envy, who just days ago named a new CEO in Adam Rymer, already competes in a number of popular Esports titles. Now it is turning its attention to Riot’s blockbuster FPS hit.
The announcement welcomed a fully formed squad, who had previously been playing under the name “Together we are Terrific”. Consisting of five former CS:GO pros, they have been making noise since the closed beta.
Adam “aKis” Kisseberth, Abdo “C4Lypso” Agha, Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo initially teamed with Michael “dapr” Gulino. However, just as Valorant launched, dapr signed with Sentinels.

They have since been playing with Jake “Kaboose” McDonald, who quickly became the permanent fifth. Kaboose will join the original four at Team Envy.
As Terrific, they secured a spot in the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown by winning one of the qualifiers. A competition filled with top tier pros, they finished in a respectable 7th place out of 16.
More recently, the soon-to-be Envy roster took 2nd in the Gamers For Equality charity event hosted by 100 Thieves and 4th $10,000 Pulse Invitational.
There is no doubt that this team has a lot of potential going forward and it will be exciting to see them compete under the Team Envy banner.
