T1 expand Valorant roster with Crashies signing

Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro Crashies recently became the third member of the T1 Valorant team.

Entertainment and sports organisation T1 announced their latest signing to fans via a post on Twitter. Following the news that Keven “AZK” Larivière had joined previous teammate Braxton “Brax” Pierce on the Valorant lineup, Austin “Crashies” Roberts was revealed as the newest addition.

Similarly to Brax and AZK, Crashies has a strong background in FPS shooters, having also been a professional in CS:GO. Whilst it’s fair to say that he doesn’t have quite such a long history in esports as his new teammates, Crashies is undoubtedly a huge talent and someone to watch out for in Valorant.

T1’s early investment into Valorant is looking good so far. Brax and AZK came out on top against 8 teams of pros and content creators at the T1 Invitational. With a third member now in place, it seems likely that they will have a fully formed roster by the time the game officially launches.

Riot recently confirmed that a ranked playlist will soon be available for closed beta users. This will give teams like T1 the opportunity to practice together, try out potential signings and start to really delve into the competitive side of Valorant.
