Sentinels Marved to Replace TenZ for VCT Americas Superweek

VALORANT Champion Marved is back!

Following recent Sentinels' poor performance, Sentinels appointed Adam "Kaplan" Kaplan as their head coach, who will be taking charge of the roster going into the upcoming VCT Americas matches.

Kaplan announced, in the recent competitive update, that Sentinels will be moving TenZ to the bench, and to sub-in former Optic and recent Sentinels' addition Marved. The change, however, is not going to jeopardize TenZ's spot in the team, as Kaplan reiterated in the announcement that Marved will be competing in the starting roster just for the upcoming superweek, giving TenZ sometime to rest.

This change could mean that Sentinels will be switching roles once again, with the fans speculating that Sacy will be moving back to his initiator role, Zekken into the duelist role and Marved to his original role from his Optic era as the controller.

Sentinels will be facing two Brazilian teams in the upcoming superweek, the teams are VALORANT Champions LOUD who remains undefeated, and MIBR who took down NRG Esports in a major upset earlier this week. The upcoming games are tough ones, but Kaplan and the rest of the Sentinels roster believe in proving themselves and going back on track.
