Turkish organization S2G Esports has its sights set on former Team Heretics' duo Christian "lowel" Antoran and Melih "pAura" Karaduran, multiple sources tell Tracker. Joining alongside them will be former Giants Gaming star Batuhan "russ" Malgaç, streamer Kılıçarslan "KILICARSLAN" Atila, former BIG superstar Ceyhun"AslaN" Aslan and former SuperMassive Blaze Coach Mert "9999" Turna, as first reported by drevvz and Dr_ALPH4.
Lowel spent the past two years with Team Heretics, during which time Team Heretics managed to secure second place in Champions Tour Europe Stage 1 : Masters and multiple other titles. On Nov, 18, Team Heretics announced Lowel's departure.
Paura originally played for BBL Esports. But in September 2022, he joined Team Heretics. The roster struggled to find success, only securing third place in Red Bull Homeground. On Nov. 9, Paura announced he was a free agent heading into the 2023 season.
Russ played for multiple organizations, but had most success with SuperMassive Blaze reaching top two in Champions Tour Europe Stage 3 : Challengers, securing a spot in Masters Berlin and beating notable teams like FPX and Acend in the process. Later in January 2022, he moved to Giants Gaming with mixed success, and then, was moved to the inactive roster.
Kilicarslan is a known Turkish streamer, showing potential against professional players in Competitive queues and other tournaments.
AslaN started his career with BIG, during his time with BIG they managed to secure a promotion to EMEA Challengers alongside FOKUS and won Red Bull Homeground EMEA Closed Qualifier securing a spot in Manchester's LAN but later forfeited the spot to Team Heretics due to BIG leaving the Valorant scene altogether.
Together, S2G Esports will look to challenge the likes of SuperMassive Blaze and Parla Esports in Valorant Challengers League : Turkey 2023.
