People are getting "Free" Valorant Points

Ever find yourself just a few points short of buying that sweet new weapon skin? If you can’t face splashing out for more in-game cash, there might be another way to earn the difference.

If you never played League of Legends, you may not be familiar with Riot’s art for RP system. It’s a player-made tradition, in which the developers celebrate and reward the creativity of fans.

The concept is simple, players submit a piece of original artwork based on the game, and in return they are granted those few extra much-needed points. Fortunately, it seems like this idea has also transferred across to Valorant.

Reddit user u/randomlitbois was able to purchase the Glitch Pop Bulldog skins after receiving 40 VP in exchange for an expertly traced masterpiece they dubbed “Sneaky Sage”. Other Redditors commented that they had also made use of this trick in Valorant.

It’s important to note that as far as anyone knows, Riot’s official policy is to only allow this once per account. So, whilst some people have had success on multiple occasions, don’t expect to be raking in the free points. Also, they will usually only do this with small amounts, if you need more than 50 you may be out of luck.

Don’t worry if you’re not a professional artist. As long as you put a little bit of effort, in your work should be accepted. You might as well have fun with it though!

In the past, Riot have even showcased some of the best fan art in-game. For League of Legend’s 10^thanniversary, they temporarily swapped out the original 40 Champion’s loading screens with images produced by the community.
