Modern Warfare 3 Price Announced Ahead of Launch Date

Modern Warfare 3, the latest installment in the popular Call of Duty franchise, is set to launch on November 10, 2023. Serving as a sequel to Modern Warfare 2 from 2022, the game will continue Captain Price’s journey alongside his team as they confront the notorious terrorist Makarov. Fans eagerly anticipating its arrival might be curious about the price they’ll have to pay to experience this shooter.

As per Activision’s announcement, Modern Warfare 3 will be considered a “premium release” and will be priced accordingly at $70 USD. This means that there won’t be any options or expansions for individuals who already own Modern Warfare 2.

However, it seems that different regions might enjoy varying price advantages when it comes to acquiring Modern Warfare 3. Leaked information from Australia’s Steam listing suggests that the game could potentially cost $54.95 AUD ($36 USD).

This would make it half the price of the US version and present Australian players with an opportunity. It’s important to note though that this leaked pricing hasn’t been confirmed by Activision and could potentially change in the future. It's also worth noting that the price of Modern Warfare 3 can vary depending on the platform and region.

Modern Warfare 3 is anticipated to be one of this year’s releases. It will offer a campaign mode, a multiplayer mode and the beloved Zombies mode making a comeback. Additionally, one of its maps will feature Verdansk—a known location from Warzone. Activision has announced that more details about the game will be revealed during a Warzone 2 event scheduled for August 17th.
