The changes come as a response to the poor performance of MAD Lions' VALORANT team in the North American Challengers league, the team ended the first split in fourth place out of five in Group B, losing to multiple other teams the likes of The Guard, M80 and TSM.
MAD Lions' executives were confident in this team, in their original announcement of their acquisition of the free agent roster Dark Ratio, the management mentioned that this team brings aspirations and a good work ethics and whatever it takes to get the title– however, the team ended up underperforming and the organization isn't so sure of the core.
With the release of the two stars, MAD Lions is looking to make important changes to the roster and patch up the issues within, in hopes to recover and make a perfect run in the second split of the North American Challengers league.
