The winners of the Mid-Season Face Off had a spectacular run through the upper bracket, stomping on Disguised Toast's VALORANT team in the first game of the competition, then defeating Moist Moguls in the upper semi-finals, and the region's favourites The Guard in the upper final. With that last win, M80 secured their spot in the Grand Finals and awaited their opponent.
The runners-up of the competition didn't have the luckiest of runs, losing to Oxygen Esports in the upper quarter-finals then making a comeback through the lower bracket, defeating FaZe Clan in the process, Moist Moguls, then making it even against Oxygen Esports in another face off and defeating The Guard in the lower finals. With that last win, G2 secured their spot in the Grand Finals against M80.
The Grand Finals held some of the best highlights of the region, with noticeable performances from NiSMO, Koalanoob, OXY and ShaZam.
With this win, M80 secured a few more circuit points and made a step closer to the Ascension League. However, hope is not lost for the rest of the teams, including the runners-up, because Split Two is ahead, and it includes more circuit points!
Split Two beings on April 18.
