The Clash is a team-based competitive game played in a tournament bracket, where you can assemble a squad out of friends or teammates of your choosing and begin competing against others of similar skill. What is the Clash in League of Legends and how does it work

Clash's initial release in 2020 piqued the curiosity of avid and competitive gamers.  It allows you to form a team with a name, tag and logo and start competing with your foes.Your tier will be determined by the average skill and rank of your team, and the system will make sure to pair you with a team in your own tier to ensure a fair fight.

A player must be at summoner level 30 or higher, have finished their provisional matches, and be able to use SMS to verify their account in order to be eligible. You will need a Clash Ticket for this, which you can get for 975 BE or 195 RP, or you can choose a Premium Ticket for 975 RP.

Riot Games published a dev blog in June 2023 outlining a number of modifications that will be made to the next Clash. The number of Clash that will take place is going to be reduced to one 2-day tournament  per month. Moreover, in an effort to discourage players from giving up too soon, the reward system has also been altered, and the drops you earn now depend on how many wins you can rack up. Also, the Victory Points you are about to receive are doubled for each victory, but the quantity of VP for each award stays the same.
