FunPlus Phoenix set to make a comeback in VALORANT

FPX is set to make its long-due comeback.

As we reported before, VALORANT has been approved in China. And as a result, multiple Chinese organizations are starting to express interest in joining the VALORANT scene, multiple sources told Tracker.

Organizations set to join include LGD Gaming, LNG Esports, Rare Atom, Top Esports, Ultra Prime and the biggest being FunPlus Phoenix.

FunPlus Phoenix is no stranger to VALORANT, it was the home of the best VALORANT team, the winners of Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2: Masters Copenhagen and forth in Valorant Champions 2022. However, due to FunPlus Phoenix being excluded from Riot's partnership list, FPX had to exit VALORANT in Europe and compete with their Chinese Academy roster in local tournaments.

But with the recent news of the NPPA approving VALORANT in China, FPX is looking to recruit talented prodigies to their main team, which would compete in the rumored VALORANT Challenger League : China.
