Fortnite Chapter 7: Release Date, Leaks, and Everything We Know So Far

Early Chapter 7 leaks hint at a massive desert map, a huge river-cut city, floating balloons, and way more surprises we haven’t seen before.

Fortnite Chapter 7 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious resets Epic has ever done. With creator previews scheduled for the 17th and an early wave of in-game leaks already circulating, players are getting their first real look at what the next island might bring.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 7 Release?

Fortnite Chapter 7 is expected to begin immediately after the Simpsons Mini-Season ends, which wraps up November 29, 2025.
A short downtime window is planned before servers go live with the new chapter.

Projected Launch Timing (Approx.)

  • US Eastern (ET): 5:00 PM
  • US Pacific (PT): 2:00 PM
  • UK (GMT): 9:00 PM
  • Central Europe (CET): 10:00 PM

Select approved creators will showcase Chapter 7 content on November 17/19th, giving the community its first official sneak peek.

Chapter 7 Leaks

  • Large Desert Biome: Most of the southern and central island is arid, with canyon paths and neon-lit towns.
  • Huge Urban City: A massive city POI sits at the center, split by a river that drains into a large lake—big for rotations.
  • Minimal Snow: Only a few small mountain peaks have light snow; there’s no dedicated snow biome.
  • Floating Balloons: Dozens of balloons hover over POIs, rumored to provide mobility and high-tier loot.
  • Hollywood-Style Sign: A giant hillside landmark overlooks the city, hinting at an entertainment-themed region.
  • Gambler Shotgun: A high-risk, high-reward shotgun with variable damage tied to a “chance” mechanic.
