Fortnite and Doctor Who Crossover Reportedly on the Way

Get ready for a lot of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff.

An upcoming Fortnite collaboration may involve Doctor Who, according to a recent leak. It's suggested the two franchises could merge for an event in the battle royale game. While nothing is officially confirmed, the collaboration could include new skins, pickaxes, gliders, and emotes from the world of Doctor Who.

The details come from Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey on Twitter. If true, the crossover could possibly work like previous events in Fortnite. Events such as the Dragon Ball or Most Wanted matches where players either hunted for items from the DBZ universe or collected bounties on other players during games. Those events included rewards like outfits, Back Blings, and unique gliders for players who completed challenges.

The Doctor Who partnership could also bring with it several new gear options as well. However, there are no details on what exactly those are. The leak speculates Fortnite will get two skins, two pickaxes, one glider, and one emote from the show. Though, with it being Doctor Who, such items might include a Tardis glider, a Sonic Screwdriver pickaxe, and a Doctor Who skin featuring one of the several faces of the Doctor. Another addition could be a spray in the form of the character Beep the Meep. Beep is an alien featured in Doctor Who comics and the radio drama.

When the collaboration could take place is also a mystery. The 60th anniversary of Doctor Who is coming up in November. If the leak is true, this could be when the crossover is set to release.
