FNATIC’s VCT LOCK/IN trophy damaged during flight home

The trophy that FNATIC won to symbolize their victory in the VCT LOCK//IN tournament has been damaged, according to multiple tweets by players Derke and Chronicle.

In the tweet, Derke said "someone took the trophy from our case and broke it during British Airways baggage transit". His teammate Chronicle added that someone picked it up and dropped it.

FNATIC's Team Director Colin "CoJo" Johnson said on Reddit that the trophy was either dropped or smashed while in transit. He added they were filing a claim and speaking to Riot to hopefully fix the trophy or get a new one.

In the images shared by the players, the VCT logo appears to be damaged. Other pieces look off as well.

As of publication, there has been no official statement from Riot Games.

FNATIC beat LOUD 3-2 in the Grand Finals of the VCT LOCK//IN tournament to claim the trophy.
