FNATIC remain unbeaten after win versus FUT Esports in VCT EMEA

How much longer can they stay undefeated?

European esports organization FNATIC remain unbeaten in the VCT EMEA League after defeating FUT Esports 2-0 and getting their fifth win of the season.

The first map of the series was Icebox, which is the last time it's being played this Split after being taken out of the competitive rotation by Valorant. FNATIC stormed out of the gates, winning the first two rounds. However, FUT then won the next four rounds to go up with a score of 4-2. The last few rounds of the half were pretty back and forth, with FNATIC taking a 7-5 lead at halftime. The second half was extremely one sided. FNATIC won the first six rounds and ultimately the game, holding FUT to zero rounds won in the second half. The final score was 13-5.

The second map was Lotus. Similar to the first map, the first half in this one was fairly close, with FNATIC going up 8-4 after halftime. They continued their dominant showing in the second half, winning five out of six rounds to win the game. The final score was 13-5.

Leading FNATIC was Alfajer, who had a KDA of 40-18-4 through both maps, as well as an ACS of 299 and an ADE of 193. Great stuff from the Sentinel player.

With the win, FNATIC now improve to 5-0. Their next matchup will be against Team Vitality on May 3rd.

With the loss, FUT Esports drop to 3-3. Their next chance at a win will come against Karmine Corp on May 4th.
