The statement didn't include the player's name, however, FNATIC published an official statement minutes later clarifying the situation. The player in question is one of the newest additions to the FNATIC roster, Leo "Leo" Jannesson.
Leo will, unfortunately, be playing in isolation for this game, but we know he's still gonna smash it. Hope you feel better soon, @leojannesson!

We'll be bringing out a special someone to take his spot on stage today: Meet Cow Paulo 🐄 https://t.co/pGb2qyU4Bp pic.twitter.com/KHupK5c8df
Leo will still be competing against Sentinels tonight from quarantine (isolation) on a LAN network connected to the main stage. This isn't the first time FNATIC has such unfortunate circumstances. Derke, a fellow FNATIC VALORANT player, tested positive for COVID back in March of last year in VCT Masters, Iceland.
FNATIC versus Sentinels is a long anticipated game, both teams feature the best talents from their respective regions and will be one of the best games of the tournament according to fans.
