Fans find awesome gameplay feature in Valorant footage

Excited future Valorant players have been meticulously studying the limited amount of gameplay footage available for any small signs of new information. Well something has cropped up, and it could be a great discovery.

Reddit user u/dodgerellipsis took to the r/VALORANT subreddit to report what appears to be some sort of ping system. At the 19:04 mark in the video below, you can see a dropped weapon being tagged up on the mini map.

In competitive modes at least, no such feature is available in CS:GO, so this could be a great example of how Riot Games plan to improve on the Search & Destroy style gameplay. How exactly this will work we will have to wait and see, but if we are able to mark up both weapons and locations on the map, this would be a real positive.
