North American esports organization Evil Geniuses, who compete in the VCT Americas League, have announced changes to their starting lineup by benching Brendan "BcJ" Jensen and elevating Max "Demon1" Mazanov in his place.
#VCT Roster Update: Demon1 replacing BcJ to give open-tryouts-find the chance to show his skills as team continues to develop.

The roster change comes after Demon1 filled in for BcJ in EG's last game, where he went 14-15-2 in map two of their loss against 100 Thieves. BcJ started the first map but was subbed out for the second one.
EG was ripped on Twitter for the roster change, with some people saying they were getting rid of their best player, as well as for the confusing wording of the tweet.
EG's next matchup will come against KRU Esports on April 16th, where they hope to get their first win of the split.
