Epic Games Launches New “Drop Spot” Fortnite Competitive Podcast: Must Listen!

Episode One Covered FNCS and the Current Meta, Plus the New NA-Central Server

The Drop Spot is a new podcast from Epic Games discussing all things Fortnite Competitive. It’s available on YouTube, Twitch, and in-game via Legends Landing.

Episode one was hosted by familiar faces Zeke, Leven, and Vivid. They talked about the new NA-Central server region, Chapter 4 Season 1 FNCS, meta, Reality Augments, and more.

It’s a great blend of entertaining and informative content. You can either watch the video or just enjoy the audio.

What’s interesting is that they also mentioned third-party events like Tfue Tuesdays and the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl, which is something Epic often avoids. Perhaps this show could be an opportunity to be way more open with fans, in a nice informal setting.

There’s so much potential in terms of bringing on members of the competitive team as guests to explain certain decisions, in-depth interviews with pros, and maybe even answering viewer-submitted questions.

We’ve had some amazing Fortnite podcasts over the years but very few have remained consistent. Hopefully with Epic’s resources and marketing, Drop Spot will get the viewership it deserves and stay around long-term.

The debut episode was just under an hour long. It has amassed almost 30k views on YouTube and over 55k on the Twitch VOD within the first 24 hours.

How to Listen to the Drop Spot Podcast

You can listen to the Drop Spot Podcast live on the official Fortnite Twitch and YouTube channels, or in-game via Legends Landing. Keep an eye on @FNCompetitive for updates on new episodes.

After an episode has premiered, you can catch the VOD on Twitch or YouTube. Episode 1 is available to watch now!
