Diablo IV Performance Frame Rate on Xbox Officially Revealed

Where will you be playing the latest from Blizzard?

It's hard to contain the excitement for one of the greatest ARPGs of all time, Blizzard's Diablo IV. We'll be returning to Sanctuary on just about every platform including Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation and PC on June 6. While we wait, Blizzard revealed the official performance framerate for the game on Xbox platforms.

On the Xbox Series X, the game will support full 4K at 60 frames per second, while the Xbox Series S version will run at 1080p also at 60 frames per second. This was revealed by Rod Fergusson very recently on Xbox's podcast with Major Nelson.

Rod also went on to say that the game was massive, and did not include loading screens from location to location, unless the player is fast traveling or there is a huge change in scenery. So, don't expect there to be any sort of stuttering or pausing in between zones or dungeons; it'll all be seamless.

Of course, the PlayStation versions of the game were not discussed on this podcast, though it can be assumed that it will also support 4k at 60 frames per second. Especially since this rand true while the beta was going on.
