Operation Excision

Prerequisites

  • To begin the Main Quest, you will need to warp at least two times to reach round 3, use this time to gather loot and supplies. Note that the Beacon can be shot during its warp animation to progress two rounds.

Obtain the Beacon Listening Device

Locate and enter the red rift, this will teleport you to the sky where another rift will appear, parachute into it to continue. Repeat this process until a beam of light exits the rift alongside you. Finally, locate the Beacon Listening Device where the beam of light met the ground.

Note: There is no red rift on Sanatorium. If the you are warped there on the third wave, you must warp to the next region and then locate it.

Respond to Ravenov

With the Beacon Listening Device collected, complete the objectives of the current Outbreak region to spawn the Beacon. Access the Terminal of the Beacon and select the Respond option. Once complete, you will be warped to the next region.

Locate Crashed Helicopter & Secure Crash Site

A crashed helicopter can be found in the Carved Hills of Sanatorium. On approach of the helicopter, a wave of enemies will spawn. Eliminate these enemies, then interact with the Omega Audio Recording found in the cabin of the helicopter to progress.
