How to Upgrade Klaus on Mauer der Toten in Black Ops Cold War Zombies

The latest round-based Zombies map, Mauer der Toten, is now available in Season Four Reloaded of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Klaus is a robotic, AI helper available for use in Mauer der Toten. To deploy Klaus and take advantage of his Zombie-slaying, player-reviving capabilities, you will first need to craft him. Once this is done, Klaus can be upgraded to modify his appearance and increase his damage output.

Upgrade Klaus

Prerequisites

• Turn on the Power and unlock Pack-a-Punch
• Assemble Klaus

Place the Microwave Dish

Navigate to the "Death Strip" and interact with the various Debris Piles found on the ground to Search them. Eventually, the Microwave Dish item will be uncovered, interact to collect it.

Next, locate and interact with the Upgrade Station in the Garment Factory to place the Microwave Dish.

Defend Klaus

Deploy Klaus and allow him to kill roughly 45 Zombies. Once the kill requirement is met, the monitor on the top-right of the Upgrade Station in the Garment Factory will be green.

Next, use the Klaus Remote Control to Command him to the Upgrade Station. This will begin a wave of enemies in which you must Defend Klaus from. Klaus will exit the Upgrade Station once complete.

Obtain the Blacklight

While Klaus is Deployed, use the Klaus Remote Control in your Tactical Equipment slot to Command him to a Locker found in the Switch Control Room. Klaus will interact with the Locker where a Blacklight can be equipped to your weapon.

Obtain the Cosmetic Disks

Shine the Blacklight at each of the following electrical boxes, two of which will reveal a Klaus symbol. Deploy Klaus and use the Klaus Remote Control to Command him near the electric box and open it.

• 5th Floor Apartments: Across from Zipline
• Hotel Lounge: Across from Stamin-Up
• Ghost Station: Near Service Passage
• Maintenance Tunnel: Near Safe House
• West Berlin Street: Near Café Müller
• Blasted Suite: Near Barrier

Collect the Cosmetic Disk within the electrical box, repeat this process for a total of two.

Begin Upgrade Process

Return to the Garment Factory, use the Klaus Remote Control to Command Klaus to enter the Upgrade Station, then interact with him to begin the Upgrade Process.

The Upgrade Process can be repeated twice, for a total of two Klaus Upgrades.
