Acend unveil new VALORANT roster

Ready for Ascension

Acend have announced their new Valorant roster, which consists of Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů, Gilad "ALIVE" Hakim, Alessio "musashi" Xhaferi, Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka, and Jack "Br0die" Emmott. Up and coming player Ivan "B3ASTM0D3" Ledić will be the sixth man and Laurynas "Nbs" Kisielius will be the Coach.

MONSTEERR is the only remaining player from Acend's previous roster. The other four players all join from various teams. ALIVE joins from Excel, where he competed with them in the last split. They won VRL Polaris and qualified for the VRL Finals in July, where they placed seventh. He is considered one of the best up and coming duelist players in EMEA.

Musashi is a fan favorite and another one of the best up and coming players in Europe. He previously competed for BIG and Rebels Gaming and will bring some huge firepower to this roster. BaddyG is another fan favorite and one of the best Smokes players in Europe. He most recently competed on Team Vitality. The Polish player also was a substitute for FPX in March, which is where he gained a lot of popularity for his strong plays.

Br0die, who comes from MAD Lions, will be the new IGL for Acend. He played with MAD Lions in the last split of the French VRL, where they placed second. He is a strong IGL and will also bring some good experience to this team.

Sixth man B3ASTM0D3 previously competed for DACH teams Austrian Force and Cowana Gamimg in the last split. He is considered a player with a lot of potential and this will be a valuable experience for him. Acend have also retained Laurynas "Nbs" Kisielius as their Coach. He joined the organization back in March 2021.

Last week, Acend parted ways with starxo, who was the last remaining player from their Champions 2021 roster. He has since joined KOI.

The first time we'll be able to see this brand-new roster in action will be in VCL East Surge: Split 1, which is set to start on January 12th.
