The next generation Battlefield is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 22, 2021!

Hell of a reveal trailer for Battlefield 2042, with the base jump at the start reminding me that Battlefield 4 epic 64 man base jump video. Couldn't be more excited that the reveal trailer contained all sorts of epic community moments representation!

The game will feature a near-future warfare across massive maps , the biggest in the franchise history on Conquest and breakthrough game-modes, supporting 128 players!

As we are about to dive into the first details, you should expect a gameplay trailer coming up on June 13.

The developers also reveled a new game mode, "Hazard Zone", which according to DICE will let you "Squad up and drop down into the all new, high stakes multiplayer experience.

More info about "Hazard Zone" and more about the game will be revealed on July 22nd during EA Play Live.

The game's world will take us across the globe with 7 new maps in Singapore, Egypt, India, Antarctica, and more. The maps are going to feature "live events" that will change the landscape and create challenges for the players. So you should expect storms as an example, like the one we saw on the trailer.

The new Specialists system will allow you to choose your role and squad up. Currently 4 Specialists are revealed, each has one unique specialty and a trait, and there are still 6 more specialists that DICE will reveal in the future.

The loadout of all Specialists is fully customizable so each squad can spice it up every time and interesting meta squad can potentially be a thing.

DICE is about to use Battlefield 2042 as a base experience for upcoming ever-evolving content. We should expect 4 seasons on year one, each lasting 3 months, and we are going to get more seasons and battle pass content every 3 months after.
