F.A.Q.
Q: Why can't console players upload their replay files?
A: Epic Games don't allow console users to access their match replay files outside of the game. We'd happily support console if Epic made it possible.
Q: Why is the upload process failing?
A:
- Make sure the replay file does not exceeed 50 MB.
- Your replay file may be too old.
- Custom and Creative game modes are not supported.
- Your match never started (e.g. you left the match on the starting island).
- Your browser, or browser extentions may be causing issues. Try using a different browser.
- The replay feature may require maintenance after a game patch, please click the "Report Issue" button on the upload page.
Q: Do I need to upload my tournament match replay files?
A: No, for tournament matches, we can automatically obtain a replay file from the game server. These are far superior to client replay files. To review tournament replays, visit the events page on your profile, or the find event here.
Q: Why is there a daily upload limit?
A: If you're not a TRN Premium member, you won't be able to upload more than two replay files per day. The replay viewer is quite expensive to run, and puts a lot of load on our resources. In order to keep the replay viewer running smoothly, we have to add this limitation.
