Fortnite Winterfest 2023 - Everything You Need To Know!

After much anticipation, the Fortnite Winterfest is back for its 2023 edition. As expected, there are plenty of free rewards up for grabs during this event. This year, however, we'll be missing Crackshot's hut, which always provided plenty of gifts to unwrap. Fortnite's Winterfest 2023 will run from December 14, 2023 at 9am ET until January 2, 2024 at 9am ET. You can participate in the Ship It! Express, a limited-time event, during this time. You'll have a 24-hour refresh timer to unwrap a gift. The generous Sgt. Winter, now under the Ship It! Express brand, will be delivering 14 free gifts during Winterfest! Inside these gifts are various in-game goodies, including outfits, gliders, a lobby track that doubles as a jam track, and more. We won't spoil the details, but be sure to add the Winterfest Bushranger and Holiday Boxy outfits to your Winterfest wish list.

To grab these gifts, visit the Quests tab daily. Don’t worry if you miss a day — the gifts will stack and remain available until Winterfest ends on January 2, 2024, at 9 AM ET. Here's the timeline of the rewards in order:

New Weapons

Fortnite is also bringing back old weapons for use in the Battle Royale game mode, adding a festive twist to your victories. The weapons include Holiday Presents!, Sneaky Snowmando, Snowball Launcher, Snowy Flopper, and Icy Grappler.

For those who want to help Ship It Express, join Holiday Boxy and investigate the island's missing shipments. These quests will gradually become available throughout Winterfest 2023. Complete 19 of them to unlock the Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe.

Here are all the Winterfest Quests and their associated rewards:

• Hit opponents with snowballs from the Snowball Launcher (3) (7) (15) (30) – 15,000 XP for each stage
• Land in a snowy region in different matches (2) (4) (6) (8) – 15,000 XP for each stage
• Damage enemy players with thrown items in the Ship It! Express LTM (300) – 15,000 XP
• Land from the bus at Winterburg and finish in the top 20 players (1) – 15,000 XP
• Travel distance while sliding continuously with Icy Feet (50) – 15,000 XP
• Travel distance in the air using the Icy Grappler (200) – 15,000 XP
• Talk to Characters to receive free items (3) – 15,000 XP
• Assist in searching Winterfest Present containers found around the map (5) – 15,000 XP
• Consume Snowy Floppers or hide in a Sneaky Snowmando (3) – 15,000 XP
• Emote on a dance floor (1) – 15,000 XP
• Damage opponents while in a snowy region (250) (700) (1500) (2500) – 15,000 XP for each stageTravel distance while sprinting (1000) – 15,000 XP

• Visit Crackshot’s Cabin when the floating loot island appears (1) – 15,000 XP
• Talk to Holiday Boxy about the stolen boxes (1) – 15,000 XP
• Destroy hacked Ship It! Express Drones at Hot Spots (3) – 15,000 XP
• Use a Sneaky Snowmando prop disguise near Krampus and his present stash (1) – 15,000 XP
• Deploy a beacon at Krampus’s present stash for the Ship It! Express team (1) – 15,000 XP
• Help eliminate Krampus to save Winterfest (1) – 15,000 XP
• Collect an item inside a present thrown by Sgt. Winter (1) – 15,000 XP
• Deliver packages to their rightful destinations (3) – 15,000 XP
• Place festive snow creatures (3) – 15,000 XP
• Emote with Holiday Boxy or Sgt. Winter (1) – 15,000 XP

A new LTM, "Ship It! Express," offers a day in the life of a Ship It! Express representative. Only thrown weapons and consumables are allowed in the Zero Build Ship It! Express limited-time experience, where you can "deliver" damage to opponents. Deliver your way to victory with increased loot spawns and frequent Supply Drops. Ship It! Express is available until Winterfest ends on January 2, 2024, at 9 AM ET and is accessible via Discover.
