Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the most anticipated games of 2023, and fans are eager to get their hands on the multiplayer mode as soon as possible. Fortunately, Activision has announced the dates for the open beta test, which will take place in two phases this October. Here is everything you need to know about the Modern Warfare 3 beta dates, platforms, and how to get early access.
Modern Warfare 3 Beta Release Date For All Platforms
The first phase of the beta test will be exclusive to PlayStation users, while the second phase will include all platforms (Xbox, PC, and PlayStation). The beta dates are as follows:
Weekend One: PlayStation Only
- Oct. 6-7: Early Access
- Oct. 8-10: Open Beta
Weekend Two: All Platforms
- Oct. 12-13: Early Access
- Oct. 14-16: Open Beta
The beta test will end on Oct. 16, unless Activision decides to extend it for further feedback and data collection.
How to Get Early Access To Modern Warfare 3 Beta
To gain access to the beta test of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, players need to pre-purchase the game from a participating retailer or online store. By pre-ordering, players will also receive in-game rewards, including a weapon blueprint, an operator skin, and a calling card.
Those who pre-order will receive an email with a redemption code that can be used on the Call of Duty website. Once redeemed, they can download the beta client as soon as it becomes available.
Note: If you pre-order the game from a digital store like Steam, PlayStation Store, or Microsoft Store, you'll automatically enroll in the beta program.
