Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes

The Season 5 reloaded update for Warzone 2 and MW2 has been officially confirmed to release on August 30 at 9 AM PT across all platforms. The upcoming patch is slated to feature a new Multiplayer-map, a new Resurgence-experience, several events and additional DMZ missions, as well as a lot of content that will carry forward to Modern Warfare 3.

As is tradition, the developers have revealed the official patch notes of Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 5 reloaded update ahead of its release and here's a look at them.

Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes

New Game Modes

The Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded update introduces new modes for both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Here are the new modes that have been announced:

• Fort Resurgence: This is a new Resurgence map that will be added to Warzone 2.
• Armored Royale: This mode is returning to Warzone 2.

In addition to the new modes, the update also brings three new weapons that can be used in both BR modes in Warzone 2 and Multiplayer game types in Modern Warfare 2.

New Weapons

The Season 5 Reloaded update for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 brings three new weapons that can be used in both BR modes in Warzone 2 and Multiplayer game types in Modern Warfare 2. The new weapons are:

• Lachmann Shroud SMG: A new SMG that is available in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
• 9mm Daemon pistol: A new pistol that is available in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
• Pickaxe melee weapon: A new melee weapon that is available in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

These new weapons add more variety to the already extensive arsenal of weapons available in the game.

New Operators

The Season 5 Reloaded update for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 introduces three new operators. Here are the new operators that have been announced:

• Lara Croft: The iconic Tomb Raider character will be added as a new operator in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
• Mace: This operator is returning to Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
• 21 Savage: This operator will be added as a guest feature in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

These new operators will provide players with new options for customization and playstyle, adding more variety to the game.

DRC - Zone 1 Multiplayer Map

DRC – Zone 1 is a new multiplayer map that has been added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II as part of Season 5 Reloaded. It is a core map designed for 6v6 battles. The map is set in a visitor center and has been built with "frenetic action" in mind. The addition of this new map provides players with a fresh environment to engage in multiplayer battles and adds more variety to the gameplay experience.
