VCT EMEA WEEK 4: Recap, Scorelines and Standings

Week four of the VCT EMEA league saw some exciting matches and surprising upsets. Here's a recap of the four week of the competition.

RECAP

Team Liquid defeated Team Heretics 2-0 in a face off that was intense from start to finish. Team Liquid showcased excellent teamwork and coordination, with standout performances from their star Nats.

Giants Gaming also showed their dominance in their match against FUT Esports, winning both maps and giving FUT a taste of their own medicine, stopping their win streak once for all. FUT failed to keep up against Giants Gaming, who came in wanting to prove something.

Karmine Corp continued their losing streak in their match against NAVI, it is to be noted that KC came into this game with an Assistant Coach as their fifth following recent news that Newzera benched himself. However, even with that, KC showcased potential despite not being able to stop the relentless aggression of NAVI.

BBL Esports, at last, got their first win in the tournament after showcasing impressive skills and teamwork against Team Vitality.

The match between FNATIC and KOI was rescheduled due to external circumstances, which left fans disappointed and worried about the health of FNATIC stars, but hopeful for the rescheduled match in the future.

SCORELINES

BBL 2-0 TEAM VIT

BBL Esports get their first VCT EMEA win and put themselves on the leaderboard following this important win against VIT. As for VIT, this loss is a tough one, since the team was on a streak to higher placements on the leaderboard.

NAVI 2-0 KC

Despite Karmine Corp's situation with their star benching himself, KC put a good fight against NAVI. However, NAVI had other plans in mind, including cementing their names as contenders for the league and this win secures them just enough points to get closer to that goal.

GIANTS 2-0 FUT

Giants Gaming woke up from their slump, defeating FUT Esports and stopping their win streak once and for all. With this important win, Giants Gaming are back on the leaderboard, competing and hoping to make the comeback.

TEAM LIQUID 2-0 TEAM HERETICS

Team Heretics, similar to Karmine Corp, are facing internal issues and failing to showcase their potential. Which Team Liquid took full advantage of and secured the win against them, putting more points to their name and crawling back into the competition.
