Valorant Agent 24 Rumored to Have the Codename ‘Giraffe’

A reliable insider on Twitter has revealed that Valorant Agent 24 will be codenamed Giraffe.

Valorant, the popular FPS title by Riot Games, boasts 23 agents in total, with the latest one being Deadlock, a sentinel who can manipulate time and space. But She might not be the last one, as some leaks and rumors suggest that another agent is coming soon.

According to @ValorLeaks on Twitter, a reliable source, Giraffe is the codename of a 24th Valorant agent. This is not the official name of the agent, but rather a placeholder used by the developers during the testing and design process. For example, Deadlock was previously codenamed Cable, and KAY/O was codenamed Robot.

However, not much is known about Giraffe, and it could also be a scrapped project. @ValorLeaks has clarified that Giraffe might not be the next agent in line, and that there are other codenames that he might reveal in the future.

Other insiders on Twitter have searched further, and have discovered a sound file that supposedly belongs to Giraffe. The sound consists of mechanical, robotic noises, akin to KAY/O’s motion. This could imply that Giraffe is a robotic character or has robotic legs.

This could also hint at some of Giraffe’s abilities or theme. Thinking of Giraffe, there is a chance that this character will be able to look from above in some way, or have some height advantage over other agents. This could be useful for scouting, spotting enemies, or providing cover fire. Alternatively, Giraffe could also have some abilities related to stretching, bending, or extending parts of their body or weapons.

These are all just guesses based on the scarce information available. Riot Games has not stated anything about Giraffe, and it is possible that the agent might never be released. However, Valorant fans are looking forward to more details on this possible new agent, and hoping that it will add some new and fun gameplay to the game.
