Riot Games Confirm the Roadmap to VCT Champions 2023

The developer behind the popular tac FPS game VALORANT, Riot Games, made a recent announcement. VALORANT Champions Tour circuit is ongoing, and with Champions on the horizon, Riot Games released its awaited roadmap.

VCT LEAGUES PLAYOFFS (EMEA, PACIFIC, AMERICAS)

MAY 19 - 28

After the end of each international regular season, the top six teams from each international league will advance to their respective region's playoffs:

VCT Pacific League PLAYOFFS : MAY 19th.

VCT EMEA League PLAYOFFS : MAY 23rd.

VCT Americas League PLAYOFFS : May 23rd.

The top three from each league will earn their spots in both Masters Tokyo and Champions Los Angeles.

MASTERS TOKYO

June 11 - 25

This international event hosted in Japan will feature the top three from each league, as well as two teams from China. The exception is EMEA, since FNATIC won LOCK//IN, the region earned an extra slot at the tournament.

The winner of this competition will win the title and earn their region a fifth slot at Champions.

ASCENSION

June 28 - July 16

Right after Masters, Ascension Challengers will take place. Each of the three Ascension tournaments will promote one team each into VCT International Leagues.

CHAMPIONS CN QUALIFIERS

July 3 - 16

As mentioned before, China will be present in both international events of the current VALORANT Champions Tour. And for Chinese teams, Riot announced that over two dozen teams will go through a tournament called Champions CN Qualifiers to determine the top three teams, which will be rewarded three slots at Champions.

LCQ (LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER)

July 15 - 23

Each region will host its own Last Chance Qualifier, which will send an extra team to Champions from each region, except for the region who won Masters who will send two teams.

CHAMPIONS 2023

August 6 - 26

The last international event of VALORANT Champions Tour, the biggest event of VALORANT, will feature multiple teams who will compete in Los Angeles to fight for the world's best team title.
