LoL 13.14 Update Patch Notes: New Skins, Champion Adjustments, More

The patch has brought loads of changes!

The next League of Legends patch, version 13.14, has finally been released globally.

According to the official patch notes, a new game mode, the 2023 summer event, and the much-anticipated Aafiri has arrived. The rift will also see some balance changes from Riot. With that said, here's a look at the detailed patch notes of the League of Legends 13.14 update.

League of Legends Patch 13.14 Notes

Champions

Naafiri

  • Released

Aatrox

  • Q base damage lowered from 10-90 to 10-70.
  • Q total attack damage ratio boosted from 60-80 percent to 60-100 percent (Riot N.B. 101 plus total attack damage is a buff).
  • Q minion damage scales up from 55 percent to 55-70 percent (levels 1-16).

Diana

  • W shield strength buffed from 40-100 (plus nine percent base health) to 45-105 (plus 30 percent ability power, plus nine percent base health).
  • W damage per orb buffed from 18-66 (plus 15 percent ability power) to 18-66 (plus 18 percent ability power).
  • E ability power ratio buffed from 50-130 (plus 50 percent) to 50-130 (plus 60 percent).

Hecarim

  • W bonus resistances nerfed from 15-35 to 5-25.

Jax

  • E cooldown increased by one second from 14-8 seconds to 15-9.
  • R mana cost doubled from 50 to 100.

Karthus

  • Q damage nerfed by two from 45-115 (doubled when isolated) to 43-115 (doubled when isolated).
  • Q monster modifer slightly increased from 95 to 100 percent.
  • E mana refund nerfed by five from 15-55 to 10-50.

Kindred

  • Health buffed from 580 to 610.
  • Armor buffed from 26 to 29.
  • Q cooldown nerfed by one second from eight to nine seconds.
  • Q damage nerfed by ten from 50-150 to 40-140.

Lissandra

  • Passive no longer stops at final frames, will continue to chase enemies until detonation.
  • Passive now follows enemies into brush if they were being chased.
  • Passive thrs are revealed to enemies through fog of war.
  • Q now slows enemies rather than just the first one hit.
  • Q missile now casts from position post cast rather than pre-cast.
  • R heal amount buffed from 90-190 (plus 25 percent ability power)[increased by 0-100 percent based on missing health] to 100-200 (plus 55 percent ability power)[increased by 0-100 percent based on missing health](maximum value at 30 percent health).
  • Area of effect damage/slow update cadence increased from four times per second to sixteen times per second.
  • R logic updated around stopping dashes.

Milio

  • Passive burn damage nerfed from 25-80 to 15-50.
  • E move speed nerfed from 15-25 percent to 12-20 percent.

Rek’Sai

  • E damage changed from bonus attack damage scaling to total attack damage scaling, but with lower base and ratio values, from 55 -75 (plus eighty-five percent bonus attack damage) to five -25 (plus seven total attack damage).
  • W damage nerfed by five from fifty-five -one hundred fifteen to fifty -one hundred ten.

Rell

  • Armor nerfed from thirty-nine to thirty-six.
  • Passive steal nerfed by one percent max steal reduced by five percent, from three percent to two percent (max fifteen percent down to ten percent).
  • Minimum armor and MR steal nerfed by level scaling, maximum armor and MR steal reduced by five percent, from one point twenty-five-three (based on champ level) to zero point eight-two (based on champ level).

Rengar

  • Q crit conversion nerfed by twenty percent, from ninety-five to seventy-five percent.
  • Base health regeneration nerfed by one, from seven to six.

Shaco

  • Q bonus damage buffed by ten percent bonus attack damage scaling, from twenty-five-sixty-five (plus fifty percent bonus attack damage) to twenty-five-sixty-five (plus sixty percent bonus attack damage).
  • Backstab crit bonus buffed by fifteen percent, from forty to fifty-five percent.
  • R bugfix: Now properly propagates Prowler’s Claw passive to clone.
  • Shaco boxes will no longer instantly die to Hextech Dragon’s AoE lightning attack
  • Zeri’s Q will now deal correct amount of damage to Shaco boxes.

Shyvana

  • Q ratio buffed but with higher cooldown, from twenty-eighty percent of total attack damage and seven-five seconds cooldown, to twenty-one hundred percent of total attack damage and eight-six seconds cooldown.
  • New Q ability: Next two attacks have forty-sixty percent increased attack speed.
  • E mark damage on hit changed from three percent target health plus one hundred base attack damage scaling, to three percent target health plus one hundred base attack damage scaling.

Volibear

  • Passive ability power ratio buffed by ten percent, from forty to fifty percent.
  • W missing health heal buffed from eight-sixteen to eight-twenty.

Xerath

  • Mana nerfed by fifty-nine, from four hundred fifty-nine to four hundred.
  • Passive cooldown nerfed by four seconds, from twelve to sixteen.
  • Passive cooldown reduced by two seconds unit kill and procs on structures.
  • R recasts buffed by one from three-five to four-six.
  • R damage nerfed by twenty and five percent ability power scaling, from two hundred-three hundred (plus forty-five percent ability power) to one hundred eighty-two hundred eighty (plus forty percent ability power).
  • R bonus damage per champion hit now twenty-thirty (plus five percent ability power).

Zyra

  • Plant damage taken from area of effect spells buffed by one, from four to three.
  • Plant damage taken from ranged autos nerfed by one, from four to five.
  • Plant damage to monsters changed from one hundred fifty percent to non-epic monsters to forty-one hundred bonus magic damage (scaling with level).

Items

Axiom Arc

  • Now refunds five percent of your ultimate cooldown plus 40 percent of your lethality, instead of 20 percent flat.

Galeforce

  • Now has a longer cooldown of 120 seconds, up from 90 seconds.

Infinity Edge

  • Now gives less attack damage (65, down from 70) but more crit damage (45 percent, up from 35 percent).

Prowler’s Claw

  • Now gives more lethality (18, up from 15).

Randuin’s Omen

  • Now reduces more crit damage (25 percent, up from 20 percent).

Spear of Shojin

  • Now costs less (3,300, down from 3,400) and gives more health (350, up from 300).

Spirit Visage

  • Now gives more magic resistance (60, up from 50).

Sterak’s Gage

  • Now costs less (3,000, down from 3,100) and gives more health (450, up from 400).

Stattik Shiv

  • Now deals less electroshock damage (250-350, down from 350-450) and gives less attack speed (30 percent, down from 35 percent).
  • The damage scales differently with level (10 per level starting at level nine, instead of 25 per level starting at level seven and then 12.5 from level 11).

Trinity Force

  • Now gives less attack speed (33 percent, down from 35 percent).
  • The bonus attack damage from Treefold Strikes scales differently with stacks (six percent per stack, up to three stacks, instead of four percent per stack, up to five stacks). This is a buff for the first 10 attacks.

Systems

Ghost

  • Now lasts longer (15 seconds, up from 10 seconds).
  • No longer gets extended by 4-7 seconds (based on level) when you get a kill or assist.

Red Brambleback

  • Now deals less true damage (10-75, down from 10-78 per level).
  • Now slows less for melee champions (5-20 percent, down from 10-20 percent per level).

Blue Sentinel

  • Now gives less ability haste at early levels but more at later levels (5-20, instead of 10 flat).

Bug fixes

All of these bugs have been fixed in Patch 13.14:

  • The ranked game count on the end-of-game screen wasn’t reset with ranked resets. This will go into effect when Split 2 begins.
  • Ivern’s W on-hit would not proc on structures
  • Player’s creep score number on the scoreboard would become desynced
  • Samira could recast her Q while it was on cooldown when using it immediately after her passive attack
  • Several VFX issues that were occurring with Ivern
  • Jak’Sho could gain Voidborn Resilience stacks while the user was dead
  • Several bugs that were causing Varus’ VO update to not play correctly
  • Kindred could re-mark targets before their hunt timer came off of cooldown
  • Enemies couldn’t see Bard’s chimes
  • Rageknife disabled Yasuo and Yone’s passives
  • Aphelios’s Gravitum slow VFX didn’t correctly rotate around the target
  • Samira’s taunt didn’t grant her a style point upon hitting an enemy
  • Rek’Sai’s R didn’t activate Sheen
  • Sylas’ E2 launches in an unintended direction
  • Ornn’s Brittle attack could cancel Irelia’s W
  • Teemo’s passive activation and deactivation VFX didn’t correctly appear
  • Monsters repeated animations when they were knocked up
  • Spear of Shojin’s passive granted some champions’ ultimates Ability Haste
  • Jhin’s W VFX didn’t appear correctly if the target was displaced after being rooted
  • Jungle companions occasionally didn’t kill minions that they should normally kill
  • Sona’s W granted a stack of Accelerando from her passive after she purchased Moonstone
  • Milio’s W triggered Guardian rune from outside of its intended range
  • Udyr couldn’t proc Hail of Blades with the first E empowered attack
  • Yellow trinket had an incorrect cooldown timer
