KC entered the competition with high expectations from fans, since the all-French squad included top tier talents including former Team Liquid brothers Scream and Nivera, and the team proved its potential in past tournaments as well.

In addition, KC got stomped in their strongest map Ascent, managing to secure two rounds in Ascent.
